# Welcome to karma.fun
In the chaotic world of meme coins, where absurdity meets profit, Karma.fun emerges as a revolutionary protocol that turns degeneracy into a force for good. Born from the ashes of Pump.fun, the epicenter of memecoin madness, Karma.fun bridges the gap between wild meme trading and meaningful global impact, creating a loop where humor, community, and philanthropy collide.
Karma.fun ties each memecoin to a specific cause: environment, education, animals, and more, combining trading with meaning. It's no longer just about speculation, memecoins on Karma.fun become tools for transformation, driving real-world impact while keeping the meme energy alive.
**Here’s how it works:** tokens are created on pump.fun, with 5% of the total supply reserved for charity. As tokens hit predefined market cap milestones, a small portion is automatically sold (with minimal price impact), and the proceeds are donated to a specific cause.
* **No rugs**
* **No scams**
* **Just impact**
This system guarantees that every trade, every pump, and every meme contributes directly to making the world a better place. We’re not here to replace Pump.fun, we’re building on its tech to add purpose and utility.
That’s it.
Let’s be clear: **we’re not here to replace Pump.fun**. We love what it brought to the memecoin space, and as proof, we’re using their tech as the backbone of Karma.fun.
Our mission is to enhance it with meaningfulness and utility. That’s it, nothing more, nothing less.
